As we step into September, we find ourselves filled with anticipation and hope for what the Lord will accomplish this month. Despite the challenges around us, we hold firmly to the promises of God, knowing that our hope is secure in Jesus Christ. Psalm 27:1, NIV declares, "The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?"
Preparing for the School Year
Our hearts are eager as we are preparing for the new school year to begin in October. The teachers are gearing up, and with your financial support, training is planned for the last week of September. This is a crucial time to equip our educators for the challenges and opportunities ahead. However, we ask for your prayers that security concerns will not hinder these preparations or the start of the school year. Recently, gang activity came close to Fonds Parisien, but by the grace of God, they did not reach our town. We continue to trust in His protection and provision.
Upcoming Pastoral Training
In addition to the teacher training, Pastor Dorlus is planning a pastoral training session for the third week of September. This training is vital for the spiritual growth and leadership development of our pastors. Thank you for your donations to make this training possible. However, if the safety situation deteriorates, we may have to postpone it until January. Please pray that we can move forward with these plans and that HCM pastors will be equipped to shepherd their flocks effectively.
